MICHEL 2025 Alpine Countries (ALPENLÄNDER-KATALOG)

Description: We discovered a number of new varieties in Liechtenstein. Imperforated copies of all stamps from the 1941 issue promoting domestic agricultural products have surfaced. The “missing color” variety from the souvenir sheet issue for the 1972 LIBA stamp exhibition is now also documented in canceled condition. We also added validity marks to the discontinued stamps from 1967 to 1995.

The variety collection in Austria is also getting exciting: There are not only two new perforation varieties, but also the first variety of a crypto stamp. The 2020 Panda souvenir sheet lacks hot foil printing. Another special chapter is unissued stamps. To increase clarity, we have redesigned the two 1945 issues and comprehensively illustrated them. We now consistently indicate the expiration date of the schilling stamps with a footnote on all affected issues. The same applies to the schilling stamps of the United Nations with its headquarters in Vienna.

Good thermal conditions are carrying the Swiss aviation stamps from 1913 to higher prices. We were also able to supplement the circulation figures for another stamp year in Switzerland. This volume contains all new issues recorded up to and including issue 2/2025 of the MICHEL Rundschau.
