The section on the early inflation period has been significantly expanded to include newly discovered plate flaws and illustrations of previously listed printing variations and main issues.

The telegraph stamps of the German Reich, occupied Estonia, and the Channel Islands were also extensively revised, including details on Red Cross forms, proof prints, and ministerial printings.
Numerous plate flaws were also listed for the first time in the Saar region and the German overseas post offices and colonies.
The most significant price fluctuations occurred in the collecting areas of Old Germany, the early years of the German Reich, the Saar region, the Sudetenland, and the occupied territories during the Second World War.
