Following the more than 90-year tradition of the Germany Special Catalogues, the present Volume 2 2026 showcases a wealth of newly added varieties and special features, such as glued paper webs, attached blank spaces, multiple printings, and partial perforations.
For the Soviet Occupation Zone alone, 22 varieties, 1 postmaster’s separation, 2 trial printings, and many other special features have been newly listed. Numerous previously unillustrated plate flaws from the collecting areas of the GDR and West Berlin are now shown for the first time; new, previously unknown plate flaws have been added.
The most striking price fluctuations occurred for official and unofficial local issues, Berlin and Brandenburg, and the Soviet Occupation Zone, but also for corner-margined stamps and first cover days (FDCs) from the French Occupation Zone.
Special Volume 2 is therefore also a treasure trove for computer users.
